When Amavasya falls on a Sunday, it is called Ravivari Amavasya. It is highly auspicious for worshipping the Sun (Surya Dev) and ancestors (Pitra). Donating wheat, jaggery, or copper on this day brings immense merit.

Since the deities are believed to be present in an invisible form in the atmosphere on Rang Panchami, devotees joyfully throw vibrant Gulal upward into the sky as a gesture of playing Holi directly with the Gods.

The entire day of January 23rd is auspicious as the Panchami Tithi prevails all day (starting 02:28 AM). However, the Abhijit Muhurat (12:11 PM - 12:54 PM) or the morning hours (Pratah Kala) are considered best for Puja.

Ketu generally detaches one from material wealth. However, if placed in the 11th House (Gains) or 2nd House (Wealth) under benefic influence, it can give sudden, massive windfalls, lottery wins, or inheritance, though the person may not feel attached to the money.
