Shash Yoga is one of the five Panchamahapurusha Rajyogas. It is formed when the planet Saturn (Shani) sits in the 1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th house (Kendra) of a birth chart, and is positioned in its own signs (Capricorn or Aquarius) or its exalted sign (Libra). This yoga grants a person high authority, land, property, and immense respect in society.

Kevat, whose real name was Guhraj Nishad (गुहराज निषाद), was the king of Shringverpur and the chief of the boatmen community. He is revered as a supreme devotee who helped Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana cross the holy Ganga during their exile.
