For Sagittarius ascendant, Mercury is the 10th Lord. If your Mercury is strong and sits with the Sun (which is the 9th Lord of luck), it creates a massive Rajyoga specifically for clearing Civil Services (IAS/IPS/Administration) and holding high administrative power.

The source of your income is primarily seen through the ruler of the 11th House (Ekadashesh) and the planets sitting in it. For example, if Venus is the lord, wealth comes from luxury, art, or beauty; if Mercury is the lord, it comes from business, trading, or IT.
