Uttara Ashadha means "Later Victory." It signifies that the policies announced may seem tough or boring at first (short-term pain) but will lead to massive, permanent success for the nation (long-term gain).

Mercury (Budh) is the main planet for skin texture and glow. Venus (Shukra) is responsible for beauty and smoothness. A combination of a strong Mercury and Venus gives flawless, radiant skin.

When a planet is in its Debilitated sign (e.g., Sun in Libra), it cannot express its full power. It feels weak or uncomfortable, often delivering delayed results, lack of confidence (Sun), or emotional instability (Moon).

During their exile in the forest, the Pandavas struggled to feed their guests. Pleased by Yudhisthira's prayers, Lord Surya gifted them the Akshaya Patra (the inexhaustible vessel) specifically on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. This magical vessel provided an unlimited supply of food every day until Draupadi finished her meal. This is why donating food on this day is highly recommended.
